I was supposed to hear back from the last job by the Friday before Thanksgiving. I touched base on Friday. I touched base last Wednesday. I have heard nothing.
Crickets.
They were actively pursuing me, and now....nothing. Four interviews, a lot of warmth, and now utter silence.
I assume that this means I'd better move on. So, today I'm moving on. Yesterday I found several interesting job opportunities, and I'm applying for them.
Inch by inch, I'm getting closer to my goals. It WILL happen. I have every reason to be more terrified than usual, but I refuse.
I am going for it, and it will happen. I don't know when, but I'm still moving forward, and that counts for something.
